Ongoing Project: The Education Foundation for Poor and Physically Challenged Children
	The primary mission of this project is to support physically disabled children in their pursuit of higher education.
			Vocational Training Courses (VTC) in Tailoring and Electrical Motor Winding being established at SKSN

 

Our Huge Successes on the Education Front

12 of these students have found employment.

Most of the others have a much better chance to secure jobs that would help them to earn a living with dignity despite their disability.

	Nutritional Project Polio Children's first initiative was the sponsorship of the milk and ghee project at SKSN.
	Generator Polio Children funded the installation of a power generator.
	Knitting Project Some of the items produced by the children of SKSN.
	Computer Lab Installation of a power generator and provision of software by Polio Children has made it possible for the children at SKSN to use it's computer lab 24/7
	Tubewell and Watertank Boring of a tube well on the grounds of SKSN so that precious water could be provided to the children in this arid region was fully funded by Polio Children.
	Building a Hostel for 100 Physically Handicapped Girls in Jodhpur, India The hostel at a cost of £100,000 provides accommodation for 100 physically disabled girls in rural Rajasthan.
	Dairy Project Phase 3 Establishment of an in-house dairy is a direct result of the success of Polio Children's milk and ghee project.
	Dairy Project Phase 3 The objective of phase 3 is to make the in-house dairy self sustaining and financing.
