Polio Children - Giving Hope and Dignity

Most of the 500 plus children at SKSN suffer from serious physical disabilities resulting from polio and all of them come from extremely poor families.

Polio Children's primary goal is to bring children physically disabled by polio and other neuromuscular disorders into the main stream society by supporting projects and programmes specifically geared towards meeting the special needs of these children. We hope to achieve these goals by supporting existing programmes focused on education, health care, nutrition and vocational rehabilitation.

A secondary goal is to enhance public awareness on polio.

In order to accomplish these goals, Polio Children will raise funds and recruit volunteers to facilitate the work of institutions such as the one at Jodhpur.
