"It is a lonely existence to be a child with a disability which no-one can see or understand, you exasperate your teachers, you disappoint your parents, and worst of all you know that you are not just stupid."

Welcome to Polio Children
Polio Cripples The Body, Not The Mind.
Children struggle to get by as their body refuses to do what the mind wants.
I Will Not Be Defeated.
I Want To Learn Too...
I Will Stand For Myself
Welcome to Polio Children
Striving to ensure that no child with polio is left behind
Since 2002, we have helped over 1000 underprivileged children suffering from
polio
dream of a better life. We have provided support for their
nutritional
,
healthcare
,
educational
and
vo
cati
onal
needs. In the short span of 8 years, 55 children have graduated through support from our
University Education Fund
and 39 students have benefited from our
Vocational Training Programme
.
Why did
we feel the need to help these children
? Explore this and more on the site.
